Established in 2018 by seasoned professionals, Mandy Marsh & Jess Akers, IVORY STATE are an elite hair & makeup team based in the Hunter Valley, NSW. They are completely mobile and go on location to wherever their clients may be.
Mandy & Jess pride themselves on delivering the highest standard of work & service to their clients. The elite IVORY STATE team has
been handpicked based on the individual skill, training and extensive experience of each member. Working together consistently
has created an efficient, beautiful and seamless flow between the whole team.

MANDY MARSH

Mandy is a highly experienced pro makeup artist and qualified trainer with over 23 years in the industry. Based in Sydney for over 10 years, Mandy was International Color Stylist for DIOR, Head MUA for The Wiggles and worked at Estee Lauder Companies Head Office.
Re-locating to the Hunter Valley over 11 years ago, Mandy became a qualified trainer and was part of a Newcastle Makeup academy before IVORY STATE was created in early 2018.
IVORY STATE has grown way beyond initial expectations and is now a full time role for Mandy, who is absolutely passionate about the business and forever obsessed with makeup. Together with Jess and the team, expect big things to keep coming!
JESS AKERS

Jess is a highly experienced hairdresser with over 17 years in the industry. Early in her career, Jess received extensive training in upstyling for both bridal and special events. This experience proved invaluable as there is no style that Jess
can't design or re-create effortlessly.
Outside of IVORY STATE, Jess runs her boutique salon,
JALush Hair Design which was established over 10 years ago.
Specializing in colour, cuts and styling, JALush has a loyal
client base that continues to grow.
IVORY STATE allows Jess to indulge her passions for styling and all things bridal. With all of this knowledge and skill, Jess will continue to set the bar high and together with Mandy, continue to guide IVORY STATE into it's very bright future.

A qualified Hair Dresser, Rhee is an absolute bridal + Up style specialist. With extensive experience behind her, Rhee brings over 16 years of experience to the IVORY STATE team. Rhee is our resident CURL QUEEN!
A qualified hair dresser, Bree is a Bridal and Up style specialist. Bree brings over 14 years of industry experience and has been part of the IVORY STATE team for over 5 years.
A highly skilled Pro Makeup Artist, Amanda is an absolute bridal specialist. Amanda brings over 10 years of experience to the IVORY STATE team.
Ashley brings over 30 years of experience to the IVORY STATE team. Ashley brings with her a very successful TV & Film career under her stylist belt. An absolute bridal and up style specialist, you are in the very best hands with Ashley.
